Project One

About our mission:

The Turnwell Foundation for Mental Health is excited to launch its first initiative, Project One. Project One aims to build coordinated ecosystems of clinical, educational, and community partners to support schools across the country. These partners will provide acute interventions for schools impacted by traumatic events but also develop multi-year programming for students, educators, and families. There is a mental health crisis in the United States and around the world. All people are affected, but our students are especially vulnerable. Our communities deserve comprehensive, sustained support for mental wellness. Project One: One Community. One Family.

We want to listen first and then help fund and support solutions that are inspired, driven, and guided by the communities we serve. Led by a team of organizations and individuals with decades of experience in the nonprofit, education, and mental health fields, Turnwell and its partners are defined by a core philosophy…

Our adversities, the cracks and seemingly broken pieces of our lives, are part of what makes us human. Finding something beautiful in those moments and putting ourselves back together is too.

To heal as ONE COMMUNITY, it will take all of us listening, supporting, and helping each other as ONE FAMILY.
